Friends of Billesley Common currently have 12 members and are actively recruiting more, so please contact us if you are interested. We have conservation volunteering opportunities each month on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. The next one is Saturday the 23rd of May. We have a walking group that meets regularly and a range of other activities taking place during the summer including Tai Chi, Pilates and Zumba. Billesley Common is a recreational area of public open space in South Birmingham, England. It is situated along the Yardley Wood Road, between the suburbs of Moseley and Yardley Wood. Billesley Common was first mentioned in 1774 as being 'common wasteland'.
