Royal Berkshire Hospital
League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital
The League of Friends is established for charitable purposes only and its objectives shall be to support patients of the Royal Berkshire Hospital who are sick, convalescent, disabled, infirm, handicapped or in need of assistance and generally to support the charitable work of the said NHS Trust.
The Executive Committee and volunteers of the League of Friends of the Royal Berkshire Hospital have one main aim, that is to improve the care and comfort of the patients, visitors and staff, above and beyond what is funded and provided by the NHS.
Main Activities that you could help the League of Friends with:
- We have numerous retail outlets around the hospital, some are open 7 days a week, volunteers are always welcome to assist in these.
- Fundraising events such as the fete. We hold many other events throughout the year that require volunteer assistance.
- Flag collection days, throughout the Reading area at out of town supermarkets and shopping centres. Collectors are always being sought.
Check the 'Projects' page within Reward Your World to see if there are opportunities to get involved and collect BetterPoints at the same time.
